I'm too poor, but my grandma did and she would supply our whole family with eggs. If I ever become a wagie i'll probably get some and keep some animals like goats too. I'm going to be trying to learn to grow a lot of things next year and maybe post about it here.

  No. 4783

Keep them only if you have loads of time to dedicate to them. I have some and they are horrible little bastards. They'll shit in their food and water, they'll pull all the fresh bedding out of the nest boxes, lay everywhere else but inside the coop, constantly follow me about and peck me, tear up any plants they see, require regularly looking after, and so on. They are the bane of my life.

That said, I sometimes love them. They can be completely daft and funny to watch. I threw a frankfurter out for them and it was funny to watch one of them run with the entire thing in its mouth while the other chased it around, trying to steal it from her.

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't you have to collect their eggs on a daily basis?

I may go another route then, I used to help her with them but never had to get so involved. I do remember lots of chicken shit everywhere including on the sides of walls and around their own food and water now that you mention it.
Overall I think they wouldn't be bad if you could live off the land alone like in the past.

Eggs have to be collected on a daily basis or else the chickens may become broody or start eating the eggs. Eating insects is actually normal for chickens, as there are plenty of nutrients in insects for them. I have seen chickens fight over who gets to eat another chicken's vomit too, and some even eat the seeds out of another chicken's shit.

If you have the time for them, they're a great animal to have. If not they are a constant hassle

Is this even possible? The cooking area on the pizzazz is only large enough for medium pizzas, the piece of shit wouldn't even fit the massive Wild Mike's sized pizzas that I like to eat.

This is a good time to be into emulation. There's two soon to be and one already released opendingux systems capable of running most psone games.

Sounds neat, If they ever get really cheap i'd look into them, hardly leave my room though so mobile systems are less important to me situation wise.
Yea I'm collecting games for every system, though it's getting kind of tiring, so I may just download the NO-INTRO packs and focus on ps3 gen games and up and jap/pal exclusives across the board.

  No. 5031

>ever get really cheap

They're already stupidly cheap, most of these systems cost less than 100 dollars. It's good to watch video reviews of the systems though because they tend to have design flaws (joystick higher than the d-pad on the RG350, only two shoulder buttons on the GKD350H).

>I'm collecting games for every system

I'm content with only playing gba and psone emulators. Those two systems are the peak of gaming imo.

They do have a lot of good games, I never got any nintendo consoles except the snes though.
I'd say I favor the ps2 at the moment with all it's jrpgs and horror titles.
Recommend me some good psone and gba games if you'd like, I have the gba game pack but no knowledge on what's good.

Computers.
I've spent probably half my life on them.
Have always liked the idea of being a roaming consciousness in one.
You'd have everything you could want, you could create, you could get lost in others creations.
I think that instead of leaving this solar system, ultimately humans will create such a large digital world to live in and explore, that we'll settle for exploring our own imaginations instead of reality.

Good analogy, sometimes the filth washes ashore but you always have familiar lands to retreat to.
