I like the "lizard" theme myself, and this imageboard even gives me memories of early 4chan. It's nice to have a place to go that nobody knows of, that caters to wizards/apprentices. You think there will be a big migration here when wizchan finally falls?

I think lizchan will be another magicchan soon and that's sad. You can't really protect places like imageboards too much otherwise you'd lose the taste of it.

I recommend everyone to enjoy these time we have left before the outsiders invade lizchan and become another clone of another clone.

I can protect lizchan and i will even if that means banning a lot of people. I'll think of something. Magicchan is alright but the admin is gone it seems. The admin on wizchan never interacts with the users which is something i'd like to do. I want to be a true admin and provide for the users unlike other chans. Even if we don't get much people this website will always be home to some lizards.

The best we can do as a whole is to keep the website lowkey and not spam it around. Maybe removing it from Google result search would be a good start so that the people who come here are more or less the ones that get to know from us of its existence.

I was thinking about this myself. Maybe we could automatically ban any "foreign" memes (i.e. pepe, tfw no gf, kek, >1, etc.). Maybe we could create a special code to add to the end of posts? For example, we end each post with an "L." Anybody who doesn't do this is met with suspicion.

I really want this place to be free from any and all unnatural memes, and outsider influence. It would be nice to have a comfy imageboard to hang out on, that wasn't written about in articles (Zoey Quinn shit) or by incels (think Return of Kings or Kiwifarms.) The more under the radar we are, the less likely we will become lol/cows/ or whatever they call us. At the same time, m chan (no full names) has 1-2 posts per hour, maybe even every 2 hours. It's much too slow to be useful.

Whatever you do admin, please do shill us on norman places like Reddit.

er… let's not do weird shit like this. it's good enough to ban normalfag when they out themselves. give one of them enough time and they'll expose themselves in one of their posts

It is what you make of it so I don't see why it couldn't be serious if that's what people wanted. MagicChan is like a fork of Wizardchan 2014. Lizchan is a fork of Wizchan 2017. There's not really any other alternatives out there.

That's kind of the problem, though. We need to keep the spirit of wizardchan alive, without the baggage that is attached to it. Mods delete stuff randomly, Simpson posters, x general threads, I'm finally gonna kill myself threads - none of these exhibit high quality. I'm hoping that this is a fork of the fine-tunes rules of wizardchan, but with a new cultural twist. The mod/admin here seems like an excellent person, and like he wants to interact with us. This means than grievances can, and will, be addressed, and not relegated to /meta/ a la wizchan.

I just want to see this place surpass wizchan, while still maintaining its roots, and also avoiding the spotlight too much. Maybe this is a tall order, but it could happen.

The lizard concept is pretty cool. Lizards hang out by themselves and sun-tan, like a wizard does. Maybe we could create some lore to go along with this?
