>>1281I think there is sign after sign all around to push people to going postal. Most people wouldn't, having drank the traditionalist koolaid, but outcast and the mistreated have no reason to think that way, they see the unending war humans wage onto each other, the fact they derive pleasure from the spectacle of death, The lifetimes spent slaving away like robots, our biases towards suffering,
The people like them who are pushed aside and expected to suffer for humanities future, which even in most favorable outlooks only end up satisfying their own needs, and then what?
Their options are to continue suffering, or die? Or could they try to make a point or at least draw attention to people like them to prevent more suffering, by ending a few future worker drones lives?
Of course the media and masses just call them evil, which they aren't saints but a product of the world influenced by it's cruelty others praise as beauty.
He talks about our internal issues effecting the worlds issues and I like that.
Our society would never agree to stop progression now like he says, and ultimately I see the argument as should we regress to simpler times, until wiped out, or should we progress, temporally reach greater pleasures and then be wiped out. How ever progression brings more pains as well as pollution increases / class gaps become more extreme.
I agree our current system has no answers that could fix it, just a bunch of crutches. This guy is really smart but I still don't believe going back to a neolithic type anarchy would change much in our fate as a race, though he makes a good commentary on current trends and where they'll lead.
